All Mainsails come with – Headboard, Tapered Battens, Camber-stripes, Loose-foot, Fully Taped edges, Computer Designed Patches, Cunningham, Sail slides, Leech Tell-tales and Bag.

Optional Extras – Fully Battened or Up-grade to Performance or Blue Water Cruising.

All Genoas come with – Fully Taped edges, Luff-Tape or Hanks, Computer Designed Patches, Webbings for Furling Genoas, Camber stripes, Tell-tales and Bag.

Optional Extras – UV protection, Foam Luff or upgrade to Performance or Blue Water Cruising.

For the owner who wishes to optimise the performance of his Cruiser for the occasional Race, but does not wish to change sails when the family are onboard White Sails have many options.

Performance Dacrons are available, but a woven fabric will eventually stretch leaving you back at square one!

The first option is a Tri-Radial Cruise Laminate, a Mylar Film with either Dacron or Pentex Yarns and a Taffeta covering both sides for longevity.

Double Taffeta Cruise Laminate is probably the most common laminate used for Performance Cruisers, providing tough Sails that would realistically provide great Performance for 5-6 years before requiring replacement.

Although commonly used the Cruise Laminate can be heavy and stiff to handle.

White Sails top option is for a Double Taffeta Membrane with a huge choice of Load Bearing Yarns to suit your requirements and Budget.

Previously only available for Racing, Membranes have now earned their right as Rugged Performance Sails, soft to handle and providing the same life as Tri-Radial Cruise Laminates, but due to the  latest engineering Technology, much lighter and stronger than standard Cruise Laminates.

All our Laminates are from top suppliers, not in-house cheap copies!

White Sails can offer customers fast sails constructed from Racing Dacrons, Tri-Radial Laminates, to the very latest in Carbon Membranes.

For the Off-shore customer Membranes are available with Internal Taffeta, providing a rugged Sail without a huge increase in weight. White Sails have been Racing with CT-Laminates (Central-Taffeta) Off-shore for 18 Months with great effect.

White Sails Spinnakers, Asymmetric’s and Code Zero’s, have again proved to be very Fast, constructed from only the best materials, these are now available with an optional sprayed on Silicon Coating rather  than buying an expensive Siliconised Nylon. This enables Faster wrap free hoists and keeps the Spinnaker dry.

Wet Nylon loses almost half its strength when wet!
